Mammoth Mountain Snow Report, Dec. 25, 2010

ThisĀ is the daily snow report prepared for Mammoth Ski Club members. Merry Christmas to all!

The National Weather Service predicts a High of 41 F, and a Low of 23 F in Mammoth Lakes. There is a forecast of 100% chance of snow later tonight. Mammoth Mountain is expecting between 4 -8″ of new snow tonight. The loop radar shows little moisture in the Mammoth Mountain area, but there is more moisture not too far away. Today the winds are relatively low out of the South at 7 mph with gusts to 25. The wind guage on chair 1 shows an average wind speed of 18 mph with gusts between 35-40 mph.

Mammoth Mountain has the most awesome snow base in the world with 11-17′. The mountain is fully open. Today is a great day to explore all Mammoth Mountain has to offer. See You On the Slopes!
