Mammoth Mountain Ski Report Jan. 20, 2011 for Mammoth Ski Club

Today is a replica of yesterday. The National Weather Service shows a predicted High of 37 and a Low of 23 with sunny skies the next 5 days in Mammoth Lakes. The winds in town are out of the NE at 6 with gusts to 15 mph. The radar loop shows no moisture in the Mammoth Mountain area.

The snow base is still 9- 15 feet, and the webcam shows the mountain is groomed impeccibly. Today will be a good day to ski your 80-90 cm waisted skis as the snow is on the firm side. I was going to ski today, but so much is happening behind the scenes at Mammoth Ski Club that I stayed in the office today to get further in the marketing development of the website. Traffic is up at MammothSkiClub.com, and I am taking steps to increase that traffic exponentially.

I’m hopiong to get some laps in on Mammoth Mountain tomorrow, God willing. Until then, Carve Some Turns for Me, OK?
