The National Weather Service forecasts a High of 52, and a Low of 35 F for Mammoth Lakes weather. The winds are down and the sun is out… for a few days. The snow base is 17-27 feet conservatively. Yesterday we skied areas that have been unskiable for 40 years, and got pictures of skiing “through” the rock at Wipeout 2.
The crowds have been low this week. It is forecast to be sunny today, Thursday and Friday. Then the next storm will hit on Saturday and Sunday. I will be traveling to speak at an event in Seattle, so I will update this ski report when I get back.
