I have good news. After a week of no new natural snow, Mammoth Mountain is expecting up to 6″ today. That should make what runs are open nice and carvable. But now the weather forecasters are forecasting snow for Thanksgiving Day. Perfect timing for the 5 day holiday.
Chairs 1, 3, 6, 11, and G2 have been open, and are the lifts expected to operate this week. Mammoth Mountain needs a 2-3 foot snow dump before it is likely to open up additional terrain.
You can still join Mammoth Ski Club’s 3 days of skiing over Thanksgiving for only $1. To get the $1 Test-drive deal, go to www.MammothSkiClub.com, opt-in to either opt-in box for the Free Mammoth Mountain Season Pass, and you’ll get the page that explains all the member benefits, events schedule, and how to join for only $1 in November. This offer ends November 30, and is unlikely to ever be repeated. Stay tuned to this blog for updates on lifts and snow conditions at Mammoth Mountain this ski season. See You on the Slopes!
