Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort only got 1″ of snow last night. I was watching the radar loop every hour last night, and I couldn’t tell if the clouds were dissipating due to snowfalling on Mammoth, or if it was dissipating just short of Mammoth Mountain. The snowfall of only 1″ shows it wasn’t reaching Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort.
Snow is still predicted to fall January 20-23rd by the National Weather Service at Mammoth Mountain. The weather that is supposed to hit about 3: pm today should bring more snowfall than the last storm. So how much snow, in inches, will fall Jan 20-23 at Mammoth Mountain???
Closest guess (in inches) wins a Mammoth Ski Club hooded sweatshirt ($55.00 Value). Winner will be announced Wednesday, January 25th. Leave your best guess of the snow that will fall in the comments below. Tell your firends to enter. You have nothing to lose and a nice, warm, hooded, Mammoth Ski Club sweatshirt to gain! All entries must be received by midnight Sunday, January 22. I’ll announce the winning snowfall estimate and the winner of the MSC sweatshirt here on this blog January 25th. Until then, I’ll see you on the slopes!
